Barbara Kruta started practicing Yoga in 2009 as a student in local studio which was mostly based around Hatha Yoga. Friends has introduced her to it and she started attending together. Barbara started noticing dramatic changes in body, physical and mental well being and absolutely fell in love with it. Practice has progressed to nearly 9 sessions a week together with gym training while working as personal trainer. Yoga also has benefited in her Long distance running, triathlons and weight lifting and she just couldn’t live without it anymore. In 2014 Barbara decided to go to Thailand to qualify as a teacher in Ashtanga vinyasa yoga and I became 200 RYT with Yoga Alliance. She started teaching classes ever since returning from Thailand. She also have deepened personal practice with Power Yoga and decided to extend education taking on Yin Yoga teacher training in Mexico.
Yoga had extremely good benefit on Barbara’s lifestyle and that’s why she decided to share it with others.
Christine Byrne been practicing yoga for 5 years and was first introduced to it as a form of rehabilitation after an injury to her back. She tried many different styles of yoga including bikram, hot yoga and gentler forms of Hatha, but find her heart lies in vinyasa flow classes and ashtanga vinyasa.
Christine went to Rishikesh the birthplace of yoga to undertake 200hr yoga teacher training and focused on the primary series of Ashtanga Vinyasa and also found a lot of passion for pranayama and the philosophy of yoga.
She is beauty and holistic therapist for the past 9 years, with a strong focus on deep tissue and remedial Sports massage, as well as reflexology and healing therapies such as reiki and seichim. She has plans to expand her yoga knowledge in the future, wanting to do 300hr teacher training as well as yin and pregnancy yoga and hope to return to India to complete her training in Ayurvedic therapies soon.
Jackie Soares has been living in Ireland since 2011, and it’s here that she was first introduced to yoga.
Her first “class” was an online video, which Jackie decided to watch only out of curiosity, as she has been passing by yoga studios on the way to work every day.
And she fell in love with it straight away! It quickly became her passion and she practiced every time she had a chance.
After Jackie’s first month of practicing yoga 4 times a week in a studio, with the guidance of a teacher, she was amazed how much stronger and more energetic she became. It made her feel great and she came to really enjoy this new lifestyle.
Jackie can safely say, yoga has reshaped her attitude towards life, and she felt much healthier and happier person because of it. It’s this life-changing experience she wants to share with as many people as possible, which is one of Jackie’s main motivations in becoming a yoga teacher.
Influenced by strong Vinyasa flow and Ashtanga, she aims to build an awareness of body and mind in students through physically challenging classes, and help them safely perform poses to the best of their ability with the correct alignment.
She completed Yoga Teacher Training at Samadhi under the guidance of amazing professional and inspirational teachers, to whom Jackie will always be grateful.
